Design
"They must clearly belong to the family of our SUVs, but at the same time they must be sufficiently different from Kodiaq and Karaq." That's exactly what the approximate assignment with which he stood up to the drawing board was, Chief designer Oliver Stefani. It was Kamiq who became Stefani's first job for the Damage, and in my judgment, the result is very successful.
Interior
If you liked the Scaly interior, you will also be satisfied in this case. The cars even use some completely identical parts, so to be unrecognizable, you need a dashboard with a "free display." It has three possible diagonals. The base is 6.5 inches, the middle is 8 inches and the largest is 9.2 inches. On request, the central touch screen will be supplemented by a digital instrument board with a diagonal of 10,25 inches.
Motorization
All Kamiq engines are straight-ahead, supercharged, equipped with a start-stop system, braking energy recovery to relieve the alternator and the particulate filter. The most highly represented is, of course, a litre three-cylinder 1.0 TSI, supplied in a weaker version of 95 horsepower (with a five-stage manual), and in a stronger one 115 horsepower (with a six-stage manual or a seven-stage double-clutch machine), and finally as a version on CNG. It has a power output of 90 horsepower, a six-stage manual and tanks under the boot floor (which remove approximately 120 litres from the luggage tank), take 14,2 kilograms of gas. The gas tank is only a reserve for 9 liters. All the other motorways have a classic tank of 50 liters.
