The book presents a cultural-historical sketch from the history of medieval thinking, outlining the issues of origin and legitimacy of power in the Czech medieval countries, the role of the sacramento cult, the site of ancient and biblical motives in the thought world of medieval man.
Together with this, the author focused on understanding ideas about the virtuous actions of the ruler and the means of visualization of good government, as well as the penetration of the knight ideal or ideas of Hussite reformers into the life of the Czech medieval society.
